I ended up making what Hysazu suggested, but I fucked it up by thinking ‘oh, I’ll just add all these other things too, even though it was smelling SO GOOD. And now its acceptable, but it isn’t as good as it smelt before : (

Not even close. You made me the happiest little Bram. I was like a puppy when that arrived, honestly. I jumped around for a bit, wagging my tail and then secreted it away into my lair, where I unwrapped it.
Okay wait, my analogy falls apart. Now I am a cat, because instead of burying it, I went around to my household and presented it proudly to each of my family members..
And then, like a blogger, I took at least 40 blurry photos of it in different poses.
Now, it is in the centre of my room so I can look upon it whenever I please.

Honestly Jen, it is the cake of my dreams. I am going to serve an exact replica of that cake (only edible), at my fake-wedding to my fake-husband who is really just a printed picture of my celebrity crush’s face glued to a suited mannequin

I am sorry you had to deal with all of that. My friend and her family had a similar experience with badgers a while back. Also, this makes me randomly want to ask if you have seen the movie Big Trouble. I feel you would appreciate the toad/dog bit.

From films, what I understand of badgers is that they sometimes eat trash and they dig holes and they don’t love household animals. But, I don’t think I could ever kill one.
